O ministro Gilmar Mendes, do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), decidiu nesta sexta-feira (18) reconhecer a validade do decreto que permite o reajuste para os benefícios do programa Bolsa Família. Mendes atendeu ao pedido da Advocacia-Geral da União (AGU). Notícias relacionadas:AGU pede que STF reconheça validade do reajuste do Bolsa Família.Para o ministro, o reajuste não afronta as regras eleitorais e representa medida legal para atualizar o piso familiar do programa. “A medida não importa criação de novo benefício, alteração dos critérios de elegibilidade ou ampliação do universo de beneficiários. Trata-se apenas de atualização dos valores das prestações integrantes de programa social já existente, mediante critério objetivo de correção monetária”, afirmou Mendes. A Advocacia-Geral da União (AGU) pediu ao Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) o reconhecimento da legalidade do decreto. O reajuste foi anunciado nesta quinta-feira (17) pelo governo federal. O benefício pago pelo programa Bolsa Família será reajustado em 15%, a partir de 1° de outubro. O valor mínimo do benefício ficará em R$ 691. Já o valor médio pago chegará a R$ 777. Na petição enviada ao Supremo, a AGU sustenta que o reajuste também está de acordo com a legislação eleitoral e não representa benefício novo. * Em atualização

No pedido, a defesa argumenta que as investigações do caso Master foram paralisadas devido ao pedido de vista do ministro Flávio Dino na sessão plenária da última terça-feira (15), quando os ministros deveriam ter analisado a eventual abertura de investigação contra o também ministro Alexandre de Moraes. Entenda O STF mergulhou em uma crise institucional sem precedentes desde que o ministro André Mendonça, relator do caso Master, decidiu levantar o sigilo sobre um relatório da Compliance Zero que traz mensagens que os investigadores dizem ter sido enviadas por Vorcaro a Moraes. Com base no documento, Mendonça pediu ao plenário que autorizasse o prosseguimento das investigações contra Moraes. Em reação, Moraes divulgou um relatório de inteligência da Polícia Federal (PF) que sugere o direcionamento das investigações por Mendonça, de modo a atingir desafetos políticos. O documento, porém, não é assinado nem traz o timbre da corporação, além de ter na capa o aviso de que suas analises são “sem valor probatório”. Moraes pediu que Mendonça seja investigado por abuso de autoridade, improbidade administrativa e crime de responsabilidade. O pedido entrou na pauta do plenário de 23 de setembro, mas acabou retirado por Fachin. Não há data prevista para o julgamento.
