Outra determinação é a suspensão de intervenções não emergenciais nas instalações de energia, além do reforço de equipes de atendimento. As distribuidoras, empresas responsáveis por fazer a energia chegar a casas e estabelecimentos, afirmam ter realizado manutenções preventivas para assegurar o fornecimento. Equipes reforçadas De acordo com a presidente da Associação Brasileira de Distribuidoras de Energia Elétrica (Abradee), Patrícia Audi, a operação é “gigantesca”. “Haverá aumento de equipes de plantão para atender às milhares de zonas eleitorais espalhadas pelo país”, diz. A Neoenergia, por exemplo, que atua no Rio Grande do Norte, Mato Grosso do Sul, São Paulo, Pernambuco, Distrito Federal e Bahia, apresentou o plano especial aos TREs de cada área de concessão. A empresa afirma ter realizado manutenções preventivas em quase 133 mil quilômetros de rede elétrica, além de cerca de 910 mil podas. A Enel, que atende parte do Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo e todo o Ceará, informou que manterá disponíveis geradores em pontos estratégicos para atender às zonas eleitorais. A Energisa, que controla 11 distribuidoras (Minas Gerais, Paraíba, Sergipe, Rio de Janeiro, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Tocantins, Paraná, São Paulo, Rondônia e Acre), informou que vai monitorar mais de 9,3 mil locais de votação e que manterá comunicação direta com as autoridades eleitorais. Os eleitores voltarão às urnas se nenhum dos candidatos obtiver mais de 50% dos votos válidos, excluindo brancos e nulos, no primeiro turno.
