O banco passou a utilizar a tecnologia de origem verificada para identificar chamadas telefônicas feitas pela instituição. O recurso, com validação da Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações (Anatel) e das operadoras, permite que clientes reconheçam, na tela do celular, que determinada ligação foi realmente originada pelo banco. Segurança Desenvolvida pela Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações (Anatel), a tecnologia valida, em tempo real, a autenticidade dos números usados em ligações telefônicas. O sistema usa uma assinatura digital associada ao número do banco. Antes de a chamada chegar ao cliente, a operadora verifica essa assinatura. Quando a autenticação é concluída, o celular pode exibir uma identificação indicando que a ligação foi feita pelo Banco do Brasil. A iniciativa busca contribuir para o combate a fraudes telefônicas e às chamadas automatizadas indevidas, conhecidas como robocalls. Atendimentos O telefone continua sendo um dos principais canais de relacionamento entre o banco e seus clientes. Segundo o BB, em 2025 foram registradas, em média, 2,3 milhões de chamadas receptivas por mês, feitas por clientes ao banco. Além disso, o BB fez 1,5 milhão de chamadas ativas mensais a clientes. Durante os testes da tecnologia de origem verificada, a identificação das chamadas contribuiu para um aumento de aproximadamente 30% na taxa de atendimento. Funcionamento O recurso é gratuito e não exige a instalação de aplicativos. Para o funcionamento completo da tecnologia, o BB recomenda que o celular esteja conectado a uma rede 4G ou 5G. A forma como as informações aparecem na tela pode variar conforme o modelo do aparelho e a operadora utilizada pelo cliente. Golpes Apesar da identificação das chamadas, o banco reforça que os clientes devem permanecer atentos a possíveis tentativas de fraude. Durante ligações telefônicas, o Banco do Brasil não solicita: instalação de aplicativos; acesso a sites externos; senhas; códigos de autenticação; dados pessoais; acesso remoto ao celular. Em caso de dúvida sobre a autenticidade de uma ligação, a orientação é encerrar o contato e procurar os canais oficiais da instituição. Canais oficiais O BB orienta os clientes a utilizarem os seguintes números para atendimento: 4004-0001 — capitais e regiões metropolitanas; 0800 729 0001 — demais localidades. O banco destaca ainda que o 4004-0001 é usado apenas para receber chamadas. Portanto, se esse número aparecer como originador de uma ligação, a recomendação é desconfiar e encerrar o contato.
