India’s Census is going digital for the first time, allowing households in Tamil Nadu to complete the self-enumeration process online before officials visit. Among the major urban districts, Thane reported a distribution of 67.97% and digitisation of 27.56%, Mumbai Suburban 67.79% and 28.72%, Mumbai City 72.37% and 38.88%, while Pune recorded 70% distribution and 45.04% digitisation
