Único festival audiovisual do país dedicado ao público idoso e acima dos 60 anos, o Festival Cine Inclusão 60+ teve início neste domingo (20). O evento é gratuito e segue até o dia 27 de setembro nas cidades de São Paulo, Campinas e em Santos. Voltado ao debate sobre o envelhecimento, o etarismo e a representatividade, o festival chega à sua sexta edição apresentando 21 produções nacionais e internacionais. São obras que valorizam pessoas idosas como seu tema central, seja como protagonistas ou como criadoras. A seleção deste ano reúne filmes produzidos no Brasil, além de curtas realizados no Reino Unido, Japão, Índia, Peru, Argentina e Estados Unidos. A iniciativa parte do crescimento da população com 60 anos ou mais para discutir seus impactos no setor, incluindo novos públicos, mercado de trabalho, permanência e reconhecimento profissional, desigualdades e formas de representação do envelhecimento. O longa-metragem Se eu fosse vivo...vivia, dirigido por André Novais Oliveira, foi o grande vencedor do 59° Festival de Brasília do Cinema Brasileiro, que terminou na noite deste sábado (19). O filme levou o Troféu Candango, principal prêmio do festival, e também ficou com os prêmios de melhor figurino e melhor roteiro. This weekend, Paris is hosting the 16th edition of FIFDA, the African Diaspora International Film Festival. From September 4 to 6, 15 films from 13 countries will be screened, spanning fiction and non-fiction, as well as feature-length and short films. The festival provides a space to explore how contemporary societies face and overcome wounds from the past, while giving a voice to members of African diasporas. After years of delays and more than a billion dollars, the long-awaited Lucas Museum of Narrative Art is preparing to open its doors to the public in Los Angeles. The museum, founded by filmmaker George Lucas and his wife, businesswoman Mellody Hobson, will be a new home for visual storytelling spanning the Star Wars universe and beyond.
