A Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil, seccional do Rio de Janeiro (OABRJ) obteve na Justiça Federal uma vitória no caso envolvendo a plataforma Resolve Juizado, que oferece a elaboração automatizada de petições por meio de inteligência artificial, mediante pagamento de R$ 20. A entidade apresentou apelação para reverter decisão anterior no processo e conseguiu proibir a cobrança pelas petições disponibilizadas pela plataforma sem a participação de um advogado. Histórico A atuação da OABRJ contra a Resolve Juizado começou em abril de 2025, quando a Comissão dos Juizados Especiais Estaduais publicou nota de repúdio à comercialização das petições. No dia 30 daquele mês, a seccional obteve liminar da 27ª Vara Federal do Rio de Janeiro determinando a suspensão das atividades da plataforma e a retirada de conteúdos publicitários relacionados aos serviços oferecidos. Em maio, a Justiça fixou multa diária de R$ 1 mil em caso de descumprimento e determinou a retirada de publicações de divulgação da plataforma nas redes sociais e no WhatsApp. Posteriormente, diante de decisão que permitiu a continuidade das atividades,  a OABRJ recorreu ao Superior Tribunal de Justiça (STJ), pedindo a suspensão dos efeitos da decisão e sustentando que o funcionamento do serviço configuraria exercício ilegal da advocacia e representaria ameaça à ordem pública e à cidadania. O procurador-geral da Seccional Rio, Marcos Luiz Souza, representou a OABRJ no caso e enfatizou que a discussão não é sobre o emprego de ferramentas tecnológicas na atividade jurídica, mas sobre a transformação de um serviço jurídico em produto comercial oferecido diretamente ao cidadão.
