O Índice de Atividade Econômica do Banco Central (IBC-Br), indicador usado para acompanhar a evolução da economia brasileira, recuou 0,2% em julho de 2026 na comparação com junho, informou o Banco Central do Brasil. Na comparação com julho de 2025, o indicador apresentou crescimento de 1,1%. A queda observada em julho (ante junho de 2026) foi o segundo resultado negativo consecutivo, após o recuo de 0,6% registrado no mês anterior. O resultado foi calculado tendo por base a série dessazonalizada – de forma a eliminar efeitos típicos de determinadas épocas do ano. A indústria recuou 0,4%, enquanto o setor de serviços ficou estável, sem variação. Os impostos sobre produtos tiveram retração de 0,2%. Excluindo a agropecuária, o IBC-Br registrou queda de 0,1%. Segundo o dados divulgados, os resultados de julho (na comparação com junho) foram os seguintes: IBC-Br -0,2% Agropecuária -1,2% Indústria -0,4% Serviços 0,0% Impostos -0,2% IBC-Br ex-agropecuária -0,1% Comparação anual Já na comparação anual, com julho de 2025, o indicador apresentou avanço de 1,1%. Nesse tipo de comparação, o resultado mostra que a atividade econômica ficou acima do nível registrado no mesmo mês do ano passado. Entre os setores, a agropecuária teve crescimento de 3,7% em um ano. Os serviços avançaram 1,3%, a indústria cresceu 0,5% e os impostos aumentaram 0,7%. Sem a agropecuária, o IBC-Br registrou alta de 1%.
