The court directed Sonam Raghuvanshi to surrender within three weeks; the Bench said that Ms. Raghuvanshi’s continued liberty at this stage would “hinder” the ongoing trial
The Bench issued notice on the State’s plea and posted the matter for further hearing on July 9.
The Meghalaya High Court, on June 29, had upheld an order of a Shillong trial court granting bail to Ms. Raghuvanshi on the ground that the police had failed to effectively communicate the grounds of her arrest
